About Us

Homerton Hope - the charitable funds of the Homerton Hospital

Although hospitals are funded by the NHS, there is always the need for extra money to provide even better service, equipment and facilities for patients and their families.

Funds raised by Homerton Hope enhance the Hospital by paying for new equipment, research and innovations, as well as environmental improvements. 

In recent years, the charitable funds of the Homerton has contributed towards the cost of creating family rooms for parents of preterm babies to stay in overnight, a leisure co-ordinator for brain-damaged patients in rehabilitation and artworks to enhance the patient environment.  

We are very grateful to patients and families, companies and organisation  who make donations, leave legacies, organise their own events, or take part in marathons or treks to raise funds - every penny makes a real difference to the patients we care for each year.
