The Homerton's new state-of-the-art Birth Centre has already received £4.8million worth of medical equipment from GE Healthcare. The gifts in kind included foetal monitors, incubators, and a top of the range MRI scanner as part of the company's Olympics Legacy Project.

This will significantly enhance the Hospital’s care of premature and sick babies and will further help reduce infant mortality rates across the Borough of Hackney in east London.
