RNRU (Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Unit)

The Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Unit (RNRU) admits patients from acute wards in hospitals across Greater London and the surrounding counties.

The Homerton's Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Unit (RNRU) specialises in treating younger people.

Often patients also have to stay on the unit for five months or more so we also aim, through funding provided by Homerton Hope, to provide a range of extra services to deal with the issues that can arise from a long-term stay in hospital.

The Leisure Co-ordinator post , for example, has been funded by the charity. The role is essential in providing stimulation and focus for patients.
