Providing the 'extras' for Homerton's mothers & babies is one of our areas of fundraising focus.
The Homerton's new state-of-the-art Birth Centre recently received £4.8million worth of medical equipment from GE Healthcare. This generous gift-in-kind included foetal monitors, incubators, and a top of the range MRI scanner as part of GE's Olympics Legacy Project.
The top-of-the-range equipment will significantly enhance the Hospital’s care of premature and sick babies and will further help reduce infant mortality rates across the borough of Hackney and East London.
